is joining
Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University
to host a virtual statewide meeting
to discuss the Future of Manufacturing
Ivy Tech and Purdue University, in partnership with Harvard, Tuskegee University, UMASS Amherst and University of Michigan, have received a NSF ERC (Engineering Research Center) planning grant also focusing on next gen manufacturing technologies. This is a $100,000 one-year planning grant. This planning grant will prepare us to apply for a 10-year $50 million grant for AI in Manufacturing.
The Future of Manufacturing grant proposes a fundamental re-imagination of AI/ML techniques, establishes an AI-Commons that bridge multiple sites and companies, distributed machine learning, incentivized information sharing and continuous quality improvement and training.
