The M.A.P. To Connect Your Company To Your Future Skilled Workforce – June 20

Through this collaboration, we will address the skills shortage in the precision metalworking industry and bridge the gap to fill your skilled-labor positions – by recruiting and training talent in our communities and job placement with your company.

Thursday, June 20, 2019
Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc.
1805 W Western Avenue, South Bend IN
4:30pm-6:30pm

Skilled help is hard to find. That’s why the MCNTMA and Goodwill Industries of Michiana have come together to form the Manufacturing Advancement Program. Utilizing Goodwill Industries’ services of education, job training, placement and resources matched with NTMA’s NTMA-U – a fully online program of skills training/apprentice courses developed for the precision machining and related occupations, this innotive initiative is designed to upskill Michiana’s manufacturing workforce and provide companies with the skilled labor to fill their open positions.

Kelly Kasner, MCNTMA Chapter Executive and Kelly Friend, Goodwill Industries Director of Career and Business Engagement will lead an info session, industry meet-and-greet, a tour of the Goodwill facility and more. At 5:30pm, the community is invited to join in as prospective trainees. They will have the opportunity to discover what the M.A.P. could mean for them, which companies are interested in participating to hire and schedule a meeting to get started right away.

If you would like to register you and your company to attend this complimentary event, please contact MCNTMA at [email protected] or Mickey Roberts, Goodwill Industries mroberts@goodwill-ni-org.
